Pass My Parcel wins Surfdome returns deal

National parcel shop delivery and returns network Pass My Parcel has won a new contract with the online board sports lifestyle retailer Surfdome.

The news and magazine owned Pass My Parcel is to handle label-less returns for Surfdome. Surfdome stocks more than 300 lines of surf, snow, skate and related lifestyle products.

“At Surfdome we have ambitious targets for expansion, and have identified a small number of critical focus areas that will enable us to further build on our already successful business,” said head of marketing at Surfdome, Thomas Loizeau. “With our entire operation based online, flexibility of returns is an essential offer to our consumers. Our new relationship with Pass My Parcel, and its label-less returns provision, has strengthened our returns service immeasurably.

“Coupled with our approach to continuously curate the best surf, snow, skate and lifestyle brands, we are confident that the company will achieve its aspirations.”

Pass My Parcel has a network of convenience store pick up and drop off points that the company claims is local to more than 93% of the population. Given that one doesn’t need to live near a beach to subscribe to the surfer dude or snow boarder’s lifestyle these days, this selling point is a good one for an up and coming e-retailer in this sector.
