Polish postal operator Poczta Polska has agreed a deal with the Cainiao Network to speed up delivery of online orders bought from the AliExpress global sales platform by Polish online shoppers.
Thanks to the agreement, orders made from China will now arrive within 15 days of the order being placed. The postal operator will deliver within two days of the parcel arriving in the country. Deliveries will be made via the Pocztex express delivery service.
“We are very pleased with the signing of the agreement with Cainiao. It means strengthening cooperation between us. I would like to emphasize that one of the pillars of Poczta Polska’s new strategy is to increase its share in the CEP market, especially in the cross-border market. In line with the adopted assumptions, our goal by 2024 is to double the company’s revenues from courier services, especially taking into account the e-commerce sector. The development of cooperation with key partners in this market, such as the AliExpress platform or Cainiao Network, is one of the most important activities carried out by Poczta Polska in this area of business activity,” said Tomasz Zdzikot, president of the management board of Poczta Polska.
