PostNL and a number of trade unions have reached agreements in principle regarding a PostNL Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) as well as a CLA for Saturday delivery staff.
The unions involved are Bond van Post Personeel (BVPP), CNV Publieke Diensten and VHP2.
In a statement issued late last week, PostNL said: “Parties agreed on salary increases of in total 2.6 percent, to be implemented in 5 steps in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, parties agreed on a generation pact and employment opportunities.”
The new CLA with the postal operator is to begin on the 1st April and will continue to and including 31st December 2018.
As well as a 2.6% pay increase, every full time PostNL employee is to be paid a one-time compensation of €50 net of tax in December 2017. In addition, part time employees are to receive a minimum of €25 net. The unions and the postal operator have agreed to attempt to stimulate mobility within the firm.
For Saturday deliverers the same duration and salary increase have been agreed.
