Delbox, a UK based parcel delivery box company has announced that it is selling ‘private parcel lockers’.

According to a statement from Delbox, the new parcel lockers that are made of galvanised and stainless steel, and are usually fixed to a house wall, will retail for around £100 including VAT and delivery.

A Delbox spokesperson said: “Many undeliverable items are just too large to fit through a letterbox aperture, but our Safe Space can accept items up to the volume of about six large packaged books, whilst our Locker model could fit something like a soft packaged sleeping bag or several large clothing packages. The postal officer or courier opens the lid or door, deposits the item/s, then pushes either a lock button or handle to secure until you retrieve your purchase using your key.”
