Overall revenues at Post Italiane were up 2% to €26.3 billion for the first three quarters of 2017. Revenues were down however in the post and business services division.

The Italian postal operator released a statement that said that its post and business services revenue were down 2.4% to €6.1 billion.

According to Poste Italiane: “The fall in market revenues from mail volumes (-5.8% compared with the first nine months of 2016), is linked to the expected drop in the volume of postal products (-10.3%), though smaller than the 2016 trend compared with the same period of 2015 (-10.4%).”
