Royal Mail has been ranked as the most environmentally sustainable company on two Transportation and Transportation Industry sutainability indices. Meanwhile, Deutsche Post DHL has made it onto the index for the first time.

Royal Mail was the top company of 100 in the sector that made it onto the index.

Meanwhile, as part of the German company’s continued drive to achieve greater sustainability as a business, Deutsche Post DHL has finally made it onto the same index. Frank Appel, CEO of Deutsche Post DHL said of the achievement that this “underlines that we are on a good way of combining commercial success with responsible business activities.”

Their presence on the DJSI World and DJSI Europe Indices means that ethical investors will more readily invest in the companies.
