As the process of absorbing Argos into Sainsburys continues, Tu clothing will soon be available at Argos, and from the 25th April customers will be able to order that brand of clothing for next day home delivery or for free click & collect from more than 1,100 Argos and Sainsburys stores across the UK.
According to Sainsburys there will be no minimum order size and the Tu clothing can be returned at any store in the two brands.
In a statement, the retail group said: “Tu clothing contributes close to £1 billion of annual sales to the Group and by offering customers the convenience to buy and collect the full ranges at Argos, Sainsbury’s aims to accelerate its clothing growth and give customers more reasons to shop at Argos and Sainsburys.”
Mike Coupe, Group Chief Executive of Sainsburys, commented: “We know that customers are increasingly shopping for clothes online and that they love the convenience of being able to collect them from a store. When we bought Argos we always knew that we wanted to enable customers to buy Tu clothing from Argos so this is a major milestone for us.”
The statement also announced that the 200th Argos store in a Sainsbury’s supermarket is opening on the 28th March in Pimlico, London.
