Super Retail Group selects LLamasoft

Global leader in supply chain design software solutions LLamasoft has announced that Super Retail Group has selected the LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru and SupplyChainGuru.com supply chain modelling platform and the LLamasoft Data Guru visual data blending and analytics tool to model and optimise their complex supply chain operations. This was won after a competitive tendering process by the Australian retailer.

Super Retail Group Ltd has grown to one of Australasia’s largest retailers, housing such iconic brands as Amart Sports, BCF Boating Camping Fishing, Supercheap Auto, Rays and Rebel. It is based in Brisbane and has over 630 retail stores, six distribution centres, and employs more than 12,000 staff in Australia, New Zealand and China.

For a retailer to manage multiple brands and a diverse range of product types across an international network, Super Retail Group sought best in class supply chain capabilities. It will be using LLamasoft’s design and analytic tools to help equip the company to operate effectively operate in the omni-channel environment.
