The SwipBox parcel locker network in Poland is now to offer DPD Poland’s customers the added choice of having their parcels delivered through SwipBox’s parcel lockers.
SwipBox runs a carrier-agnostic parcel network in Poland, beginning in 2018 with DHL and then national postal operator Poczta Polska. DPD Poland now makes the parcel locker network even more convenient for Polish customers.
Michal Czechowski, Managing Director of SwipBox Poland, commented: “The agreement with DPD Poland is another milestone for our parcel locker network in Poland. We believe that parcel lockers open to all logistics players on the market provide the ultimate convenience for end users. We see great demand for this type of service in general, and are delighted to welcome a leading brand such as DPD to our network in Poland.”
Rafał Nawłoka, CEO of DPD Poland, said: “These automatic parcel machines complement the DPD pickup network and make the DPD last mile service even more flexible. We have successfully tested the SwipBox lockers, which increase the efficiency of our collection network and are delighted that they can already be used by the inhabitants of the biggest cities in Poland.”
SwipBox parcel lockers can be found at the national post office network as well as a number of retail chains including Biedronka and Carrefour.
