The Delivery Group expands capacity by 30%

Mail and pallet specialists The Delivery Group has opened a 52,000 square foot, £8 million processing hub in Bristol.

The Bristol hub is in addition to the £2 million, 25,000 square foot hub that The Delivery Group opened in Aylesford, Kent, in March. The new hub adds 30% capacity to the network.

Chief executive Steve Stokes said: “Our aim is to deliver exceptional value and service to clients throughout the UK, and Bristol represents the best strategic fit for our network.

“The Bristol hub complements our existing sites in Warrington, Luton, Kent, Derby and central London, giving us a very strong geographic footprint across the country and enabling us to expertly handle over one billion items.”

The Delivery Group has been expanding its interests by buying shares in Pallet-Track in July and in June, completing a 100% buy-out of ONEPOST (Postal Choices Ltd).
