Logistics and supply chain consultancy Bis Henderson has had a major investment from TPA Capital to support the company’s growth plans.
Bis Henderson was established by Andy Kaye in 2000 and has grown into a multi-faceted logistics and supply chain solutions group. It helps provide clients with mission critical issues that underpin their operations and growth objectives. Through the pandemic, Bis has innovated and tailored its solutions to the rapidly-changing requirements of the logistics and supply chain marketplace.
The group started out as an executive search firm for senior logistics and supply chain professions but expanded into the consultancy and space markets after Sid Holihan, who was previously in senior roles at Wincanton, joined the team. Bis Consulting offers solutions in areas such as e-commerce and automation across Europe and the US. It has supported large blue chip customers as well as industry disruptors, across the Retail, FMCG and Industrial sectors. Meanwhile Bis Space supports businesses in the sourcing and provision of warehousing space in the increasingly tight UK warehousing market.
Andy Kaye, CEO of Bis Henderson, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with TPA and welcome their insight and support as we position ourselves to scale our business to take further advantage of the opportunities afforded to us at this incredible time for our sector. From the outset we were impressed with their knowledge and experience of the logistics market and how quickly they engaged with and shared our strategic vision for growth.”
Ravi Aujla, Investment Director at TPA, says: “We’re very excited to be able to partner with Bis on the next stage of its journey. Andy Kaye and Sid Holian have done an incredible job in creating a group that serves its clients with highly sought after advice and solutions. Supply chains are undergoing a period of significant change and Bis is very well placed to capitalise on the opportunities this brings. We look forward to partnering with Andy, Sid and the wider team to help realise their growth ambitions. This represents our third investment in the logistics space and we remain strong advocates for the sector.”
