United Pallet Network to have bigger hub

The United Pallet Network (UPN) is moving its central hub to a new, larger, £2 million site from spring next year.

The new site is at Fradley Park, which is close to its current operations and the move should be with minimal overall disruption.

David Brown, UPN’s Managing Director said: “ The UPN Board of Directors are extremely excited about this move and the significant potential for growth and expansion that it will bring for both us and our network,” said “This move and level of investment will allow us to continue to be recognised as a high quality, member focussed UK pallet network.”

“The move will increase our capacity for further business growth and our new facility will provide us with an operational throughput of over 11,500 pallets per night.”

The UPN hub move will be phased but should be complete by May 2020.

UPN stated, “By developing our bespoke IT support systems along with our quality driven focus on service excellence, UPN has established a unique position in the pallet network sector with its “Unique IQ” Initiative.”
