Waitrose extends two-hour delivery service

Waitrose has extended its two-hour delivery trial to the towns of Bath and Hove as well as an additional 58 London postcodes.

The service is through same-day couriers On-The-Dot and will allow customers to have their goods delivered within two hours of ordering. The minimum order value is £10 and the delivery fee is £5, and customers can choose from 2,000 SKUs.

The new Waitrose service is to be launched in Bath on 8th July and Hove on 15th July. It will also be rolled out to Battersea, High Street Kensington, Bayswater, Victoria and Kingston.

Head of business development Nicola Waller said: “There is a growing number of customers who want to get their shopping as and when they want it which gives us a great opportunity to continue testing the appetite for the service in new locations both inside and outside of London.”
