Whistl makes international business appointments

The UK’s second largest postal operator Whistl is expanding its international team.

The new Carrier Development Director is to be Nick Frazer while the new International Sales Director is to be Paul Smith.

Frazer has worked in the international postal arena for over 25 years including Spring UK, Deutsche Post UK, Asendia and Swiss Post International. Smith has spent his career in international distribution and has a lot of experience in high street fashion clients of firms such as DHL Express and Geopost. There he developed and promoted international services for the Interlink and DPD brands.

Nick Wells, Chief Executive of Whistl said of the appointments, “We are delighted that Paul and Nick are joining our international team.  They bring broad experience in the international inbound and outbound delivery market.

“2016 represents an exciting time for Whistl with major investment and focus on our international and parcel delivery services. Our aim as always is to respond to market demand with solutions that meet and exceed expectations, constantly putting quality at the heart of everything we do.”

As a company, Whistl has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and while some of its competitors are struggling to adapt to the new world of e-commerce parcel delivery it has met demand with relative ease. It is now widely regarded to be the second biggest postal company in the UK and is set to move ahead strongly into the 2016 financial year.
