Whistl to move to larger Bristol depot

Delivery management company Whistl is to expand its footprint in Bristol by transferring operations to a larger, 78,000 square foot depot in Patchway near the M5 in 2021.

The new site will handle business mail, parcel collection and sortation for the South West. Whistl has been working in its current site in Bristol since 2006. The existing 170 staff are to transfer to the new site and will be joined by new colleagues from a hiring campaign early next year.

Whistl’s new Patchway site is to be energy efficient and future proofed for electric vehicle operations and cycle parking.

Nick Wells, CEO Whistl, said: “We are looking forward to our move in 2021 to a new site which will provide an enhanced working environment for our colleagues in Bristol.  This investment demonstrates our commitment to the South West and to ensuring that we continue to provide efficient and cost-effective service for our customers.”
