Japanese logistics and final mile company Yamato Transport has taken on its first returns management solution in ZigZag Global.
With ZigZag Global, Yamato will collect returns direct from customers’ doors across Japan and is to grow across Southeast Asia and into Europe.
Japan has very tight returns policies relative to Europe. Using ZigZag Global Yamato customers will be able to set up a return with a few clicks. The parcels will go back to the retailer via a ZigZag returns consolidation warehouse in Tokyo. The ZigZag system gives retailers full visibility of what will be returned and when.
