Yodel has announced a number of senior appointments to its operations team, including the former Marks and Spencer Director of Clothing and Home Logistics, Adrian Harris.

Harris has taken up the role of Operations Director at Yodel after stepping down at M&S. Before working at M&S he worked at Amazon as Director of Amazon Logistics (China) and both Tesco and Home Retail Group in various roles in both the UK and China.

The new Director of Sort and Transport is to be Lucy Robertson who will report to Harris. Her last role was at Amazon as Head of External Fulfilment, but prior to this was also General Manager for Argos where she was head of some of the omni-channel retailer’s largest distribution centres.

Mike Watkins, who joined Yodel last September has been moved into a newly created role of Director of Operational Planning. According to Yodel, Watkins’ new job follows on from his success in his previous job as Interim Director of Sort and Transport over the Christmas peak season.
