Yodel takes on new CEO

Mike Hancox is to be Yodel’s new CEO, replacing Andrew Peeler.

Hancox takes over from the 19th September and has been non-executive director of delivery software company Sorted for the last two years. He has also been non-executive chairman of retail services company Sigma.

Hancox has had a relationship with Yodel in the past as CEO of sister company Shop Direct. After that he was CEO of Otto Group between 2005 and 08.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Yodel at an exciting time in the company’s history. The company has a strong market position, supportive shareholders and quality people throughout the business.”
