Fashion retailer is Zalando has agreed to work with PostNord in its four markets across the Nordic region where the postal operator is the sole supplier of logistics solutions. The contract is now set to end on July 31st 2021.
Commenting on the contract, Håkan Ericsson, PostNord President and Group CEO says: “We are delighted that Zalando has chosen to extend our relationship. What we provide for them represents PostNord’s core business within the logistics market: consumer parcels across the Nordics.
“This extension is a testament to our ability to grow with our customers and to deliver strategic services that respond to their ever changing needs,” he adds
The contract extension includes linehaul – that is transportation from Zalando warehouses to PostNord centres as well as distribution from those centres to the customers. Developed specifically for Zalando and being piloted in Stockholm, is a free pickup of returns service that will be available within one hour at the end customer’s choice of delivery.
